We will help you find the answers to those questions but, ultimately, only you can discover them. AKD :project’s INITIATE programme will make you fitter, more resilient, and better equipped to look after yourself when it comes to life’s moments of truth.
Everybody starts with INITIATE, but the path afterwards is totally individual, unique, and without limits. Just as importantly, once you have completed the programme you will have also earned the right to join a rich community of like-minded people.
PROGRAMME OUTLINE
The INITIATE programme usually takes place over twelve weeks, across three evolutions. Each evolution has a specific purpose (Foundation, Skill, and Tactical evolutions) and each week builds on the last, through a structured programme of functional movement, fitness, and martial skill acquisition.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
While you do not need to have trained in a martial art before, a minimum level of fitness is required to gain a place in the AKD :project INITIATE programme. You will need to take (and pass) the AKD :project PFPT [Physical Fitness Protocol Test].
Don't worry if you are not quite at the level yet to take the test - lots of people aren't immediately. With this in mind, we have created a unique 'Couch to PFPT' course to help you get there in no time. Join the waitlist to find out more.
